Joanne grew up in Coffs Harbour attending Coffs Harbour High where she was School Captain in 1984. Joanne left school and Coffs Harbour to undertake a diploma in Hotel Management and Catering in Switzerland for two years. After which she returned to Australia to work for various large hotel groups moving upward through Management roles.
In 1993 she diversified into account management in the telecommunications industry working with high profile businesses in project management and business development. Her experience and knowledge saw her move through the ranks into data and IT areas again working overseas, this time in Brussels, for three years, before moving back to Australia.
Most recently Joanne has worked in Sydney for an IT company developing and maintaining their business and representing them at corporate events. She has moved back to Coffs to be with her family and raise her two young children who are just approaching school age.
Joanne has always had a keen interest in design and architecture having renovated her own home in Sydney. Her organisational and business skills will be an invaluable addition to design studio 22 as she manages our projects and presents our products and services to the marketplace.
